Gulf Specialized Mechanical & Engineering Services Co. L.L.C Formerly DEUTSCHE BABCOCK SERVICES CO. (W.L.L) is a 100% Abu Dhabi (Local) Company. The Company is located in the Mussafah Industrial area. The plant occupies 67,000 m2 with a total covered fabrication area of 25,000 m2 and has berthing facility, which is accessible from the sea through Mussafah channel, with a water depth of 6 meters. GSME was established in the U.A.E. in 1971. In 1992, Mussafah Workshop base with Engineering Facilities were established.

The Company is specialized in design and manufacture of heat exchangers, columns, boilers, pressure vessels, ducting and a wide range of specialized products and services to the power generation, petrochemical and allied industries. GSME has around 420 employees and skilled workforce, that are capable of achieving production hours per year.

Operations at the factor are: plate cutting, rolling, bending, hot/cold pipe forming, mechanical works, CO2 – submerged – and impulse arc – TIG –MMA welding, shot blasting, coating, pressure testing, localized heat treatment, non-destructive examination and inspection.

The company operates an approved quality assurance system in accordance with DIN/ISO 9001-2000 and the Mussafah base manufactures boilers, piping and pressure vessels in accordance with the requirements of the ASME VIII DIV I & DIV 2 holding the S, U and U2 stamps.
